More On The Feed-In Tariff
- The State government subsidy will be administered and paid to you by your utility (Synergy or Horizon).
- Synergy will provide the feed-in tariff as a credit to your bill. If the credit exceeds $100 you can request a refund.
- It appears that for homeowners the feed-in credit will not be treated as taxable income but you need to seek financial advisc on this.
- The feed-in tariff will run for up to 10 years from the date of installation. If you have an existing system it will commence 1 August 2010 and will run for up to 10 years.
