However you cannot guarantee that installing solar power will increase the value of your home and so this factor in isolation should not be a reason to install a photovoltaic system (PV).
The best chances of getting maximum value on your home from installing PV:
- do not over capitalise your home
- buy a quality system from a reputable supplier- if the inverter is noisy, the panels are showing signs of early wear, the system is not safely secured or the panels are on a south facing roof that is not going to help your home sell and may even put buyers off.
