Air Con Trouble Shooting
These trouble shooter notes are of a general nature suited to air conditioners sold in Perth and Perth's climate. Some items will not apply to all air conditioners, for example ducted units and split air conditioners.
Whatever you do, ensure you follow the manufacturers' safety instructions.
General Safety Warnings
- If the air conditioner seems to be running abnormally (smell of something burning etc) turn the unit off, switch it off at the power point (if applicable) and contact the dealer you bought it from.
- Never remove any fixed covers on the indoor or outdoor unit.
- Never insert any objects into the openings of the indoor or outdoor unit.

Never operate the unit without the return air filter(s) in place as this may affect your warranty.
