Refer to your air conditioning manual for operating temperature range. West Australia's highest summer temperatures may mean that your unit does reach its maximum effective temperature. |
| Air conditioner under sized | Refer to the heat load survey received at quotation. If you do not have a survey refer to the retailer who sold you your unit. |
| Leaves or other items blocking the coil of the outdoor unit | Clear the obstruction |
| Leaks in ductwork | Inspect ductwork (particularly at inlet and outlet of air conditioner) with the fan running for evidence of leakage |
| Airflow to outdoor unit is too restricted eg outdoor unit is located in a very narrow passage at the side of the house | Refer to the retailer who sold you your unit |
| Indoor fan continuing to run in winter when compressor is off | Read manual to see if the fan can be turned off |
| Indoor fan shutting off in summer when compressor is on | Read manual to see if control can be changed to set fan to continuous |
